A WORD ON THE ARTWORK

If you fall in love with a piece during your stay, you may be able to take it home.

The artworks displayed throughout our suites have been carefully selected from local artists and are available for purchase.

Our collection includes a number of original landscapes by John Lloyd, one of the region’s best-known artists. John has his own gallery on historic Piper Street in Kyneton, and we’d encourage you to call in while you’re here. Be sure to mention you’re staying at St Agnes—he has a much wider collection of works on display, and we’d love to support his gallery.

Also featured are lithographs and paintings by Peter Cole and Helen Cole. Peter and Helen lived at St Agnes for a time, and several of Peter’s works are inspired by the local landscape and the history of the area, making them a special part of the property’s story.

The large-format photographic works depicting the Basilica di Sant’Andrea della Valle in Rome are original works by Prunella. Printed on aluminium, they are available in the large format displayed in our suites, as well as in a smaller size.

As pieces find new homes, our collection will continue to evolve, creating an ever-changing gallery for returning guests to discover.
